Meet our Pearsall High School Social Studies Department! From L to R Mr. Crawford-US History, Mr. Limon- World Geography, Mr. Seago-World History, Mr. Flores-Government/Economics History teachers play such a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the past and help us connect it to the present. They don’t just teach dates and events; they bring history to life, guiding us through the stories of those who came before us, showing us how struggles, triumphs, and innovations have shaped the world. Our teachers show their passion for history and inspire our students to be curious and engage in critical thinking. They encourage our students to reflect on the lessons we can learn and apply in our own lives, with their guidance and they teach our students how to gain a deeper appreciation for different cultures, societies, and perspectives, which broadens our worldview. They truly help students understand who we are by teaching us where we’ve come from. Angelyna M likes that Mr. Seago makes his class fun and tries hard to make it interesting. She also says that he is a nice and a very understanding person. Jose T. likes Mr. Limon's class because he is a good teacher that helps everyone, he takes the time to help kids individually if they don't understand the lesson. Anyce likes that Mr Crawford's lectures are all interesting and that he tries to connect his teaching with real life experiences. She also says Mr. Crawford is very encouraging and wants all of his students to pass his class and the STAAR test. Amarrisa C. likes that Mr. Flores teaches in his own quirky way and enjoys the banter he gives them. She will miss his class because he is not only a good teacher but likes his laid back personality. Thank you gentlemen for your dedication and for making learning so engaging and meaningful. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are truly grateful for you all.

Jacelynn is the current AFJROTC Corps Commander and has led the corps superbly. She recently earned the rank of Cadet Colonel and is extremely busy prepping her cadets for the upcoming Unit Assessment with HQ Air Force. 12th - Adaeze Correa. Adaeze sets the example for the Cadet Corps! She exceeds the Air Force uniform standards every week and is always willing to help other cadets in her flight. “Caught Being Kind” Cadet Airman Basic Marcos Cabrera successfully helped the Cadet Corps exceed its fundraising goals. In doing so he earned two tickets to the 2025 Military Ball. He donated one of those tickets to a cadet who may not have attended without his kindness. Thank you, Cadet Marcos.
