We've been busy celebrating our teachers!!
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎
This week, we celebrate the dedication, passion, and heart that each of you brings into your classrooms every single day. Your impact goes far beyond lessons and textbooks—you inspire, support, and shape the future of our students in ways that truly matter.
Thank you for your commitment, your patience, and the countless ways you go above and beyond. Our school is stronger because of you, and our students are better because of your care and guidance.
So far we have celebrated with breakfast, hot dogs, today a nacho bar and ice cream floats from the City of Pearsall!
We appreciate you today and every day!

Behind every lesson, every success, and every milestone is a teacher who believed, encouraged, and supported each and every day.
Our Maverick teachers are more than educators…they are mentors and role models. They are the heart of our district.
This week, we honor the difference they make in the lives of our students and our community. 🤘🏻

Mrs. Ibarra and Mrs. Aguilar
These two educational paraprofessionals support students with significant cognitive, physical, or developmental disabilities by fostering independence in daily living, social interaction, and functional academics. Working under teacher supervision, they implement IEP goals, providing hands-on assistance with personal care (hygiene, feeding) and behavioral support in special education classrooms. Thank for you all that you both do. We appreciate you!

You truly go above and beyond every single day for both your students and staff at Pearsall High School. Your presence on campus is felt everywhere—from the classroom to extracurricular activities—and it means so much to see you supporting PHS in every way possible.
Your open-door policy creates a space where students feel heard, valued, and comfortable, and that speaks volumes about the kind of leader you are. We are incredibly grateful to have you at our campus.
Thank you for everything you do!

We know the heavy rain today has many of you concerned about afternoon dismissal. We want to reassure you that we are closely monitoring conditions. The rain is forecast to stop by dismissal time, and we will proceed with regular dismissal as scheduled.
Frio County Sheriff's Deputies will be monitoring our bus routes this afternoon to ensure every student gets home safely. Our drivers are experienced and will take every precaution.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. We will provide updates if anything changes. We Are Pearsall!
Today, we celebrate the amazing cafeteria staff across Pearsall ISD who serve our students with care and a smile each day. From preparing meals to keeping our cafeterias running smoothly, our School Lunch Heroes play an important role in helping our Mavericks learn, grow, and thrive.
Thank you for all you do to support our students and campuses. We appreciate you! 🤘🏻💚

Cadet Jo’Hannah Ochoa has distinguished herself through exceptional meritorious service as the Director of Operations. Demonstrating outstanding leadership, she managed ten-plus teams, resulting in over 245 Leadership Development Requirement (LDR) hours and 95 community service hours. As a significant asset to the management team, Cadet Ochoa is hereby promoted to the temporary rank of Cadet Major and appointed as Vice Corps Commander. These accomplishments, reflecting great credit upon herself and the AFJROTC unit, have earned her the titles of 'Cadet of the Month for April 2026' and 'Cadet of the Year for the 25/26 SY'.
Well deserved, and Congratulations!
