Congratulations to our students of the week !!!

Paola Segovia was nominated by her ELA Teacher Mr. Sanderson because she's smart, respectful, and ready to work everyday!

Aaliyah Banda was nominated by her ELA Teacher Mrs. Gajjar becasue she is hardworking, dependable, and a mature young lady who always gives her best and is ready to help others. Her dedication and positive attitude truly stand out—wishing her nothing but success and a bright future ahead!

Erica Vasquez was nominated by her ELA Teacher Mrs. Wiza because she has been a light in her 6th period class. When no one wants to participate or begin the conversation, she will start it. She will get up and get headphones for everyone so no one else has to get up and get them. She includes ALL members of the class in the group discussion. In fact, when she saw a student isolated this week without a partner she asked him to join her group so he would not be left alone! That is a student with true character!

Araceli Gutierrez was nominated by Mrs. Boggs, Araceli has been a great student and is always willing to participate in class. Araceli has especially impressed Mrs. Boggs by reading aloud with confidence and expression. Keep up the great work, Araceli! We are proud of you!

Caught Being Kind

Vicky Lozano- Vicky was nominated by Mrs. Maldonado becasue she observed Vicky asking a freshman girl sitting alone at lunch to sit with her and her group of friends. Such a simple act of kindness can make a huge difference and help someone feel welcomed and included.Way to go, Vicki! Thank you for showing what kindness and Maverick spirit are all about! 💚

We are so PROUD of our students!

Thank You

It is important for our students to be at school all day, every day. Every day of attendance is an opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed!

Our goal is to reach 95% attendance, and we need everyone’s help to make it happen. Students, parents, teachers, and staff- we all play an important role in reaching our attendance goal!

Let’s work together to make every day count and ensure our students are here, engaged, and ready to learn.

95% Attendance - WE CAN DO IT!

It takes all of us working together to reach our goals!

Go Mavs Go!!!

💚 What a Day at Pearsall High School🤍

It may not have been a perfect day at PHS, but we sure did have an amazing first day with some pretty awesome students! We are so excited for the school year ahead and grateful to have our Mavericks back on campus!

📌 Parents: Please ask your child if they have any papers that need to be signed for their teachers. Some teachers may have also requested specific classroom supplies.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this a successful, safe, and memorable school year!

🚨A message from our Pearsall ISD Police Chief, Abraham Cantu:

Tomorrow is the first day of school and our Maverick students are counting on all of us to get them there safely. Slow down in school zones, stop for school buses with flashing red lights, and put away phones while driving. Let's start the year off right, Pearsall Community!🤘🏻
