Pearsall Public Pool
After careful evaluation and ongoing discussions, the City of Pearsall and the Pearsall Independent School District jointly announce that the community pool will not open for the 2026 season.
The pool facility, which has served generations of our community for nearly 80 years, has reached a critical point in its lifespan. Following a comprehensive structural assessment, it was determined that the existing infrastructure — including a significant leak and other aging components — requires repairs that exceed the cost of full replacement. In addition, the current structural conditions prevent us from confidently maintaining the level of safety and water quality standards our community deserves.
The safety and well-being of our residents, especially our children and families, remains the top priority for both entities. While this decision was not made lightly, it was made with the community’s best interest in mind.
The City of Pearsall and Pearsall ISD remain committed to working together to explore alternative recreational and water-related opportunities for youth and families during this time.
