3. Review & Approval of Prior Minutes
● Review of February 4, 2026, SHAC meeting minutes.
○ FEBRUARY 4TH SHAC MEETING MINUTES
● Action: Formal approval of minutes.
4. Parent Engagement Portal
● Anonymous reporting tool on district website
● Tool for both students, parents and staff
5. Health and Wellness
● Weekly distribution of health and wellness information to Pearsall ISD staff on Wednesdays
● Update on partnership with Communities in Schools (CIS)
6. Drug, Alcohol and Vaping Abuse and Prevention
● Presentation by District Safety Coordinator Bryan Jackson
7. Child Nutrition Subcommittee
● Review of recommendations regarding food options.
● Discuss current food options and potential adjustments to be made
8. Health Curriculum
● Review of current curriculum
● Determine if what we have is sufficient or if a change is needed
9. Recommendations for Board of Trustees
● Drafting formal presentation based on the 2025-2026 focus areas
○ Discuss and determine the areas to be presented to the Board of Trustees
● Review of the timeline for submission to the Board of Trustees.
○ Presentation will be given to the board of trustees in May.
10. Next Steps
● Set date for the fourth and final meeting of the school year.
